Hi, I’m Lavelle Carlson—retired speech-language pathologist, children’s author, and creator of SLP Storytellers.

For many years, I worked with children who struggled with speech and language, helping them find their voices through play, laughter, and stories. That passion never left me. After retiring, I turned my love for teaching into writing- creating storybooks, games, and activities that make learning fun for both kids and educators.
