Skippy was a silly little                             who lived by himself in a large                                . His                             was made of                              and old burlap                                . During the spring the                                 loved to go into the meadow to pick wild                                    .  His favorite part of summer was dodging the                             down by the lake, and he loved Fall because he got to pick                             from the vines that grew in the meadow.      The                             could see the                             from the burning leaves in the meadow and knew that winter was near.  He got a little sad as he worked hard to store fruits and                             in his                             for the winter.  He knew he was going to miss the                                     ,                       , and                      from his favorite seasons.

He sat in his                          to watch the                             falling and collecting on  the                                  .      Suddenly, he got an idea.  He grabbed some                             and hid them in his  cheeks.  He made a                             out of some old wood and rode over the slippery                             to the meadow, where he could smell the                             from the  burning leaves.  He took the                               from his cheeks and roasted them   slowly on the burning coals until they were warm and toasty.       “I just LOVE winter,” thought Skippy the                            .  He found that                        , a                            , and some roasted                             were enough to make winter his favorite season.
